Writing: In your writing journal write a fictional story related to Sign of the Beaver and/or Lost on a Mountain in Maine. Possible ideas; Donn runs into Matt's cabin and they meet and work together, you are lost on a mountain and have to survive or find your way home, you are left alone in the wilderness to survive while your family is away.
Make sure to introduce the character, the setting, what is the conflict/problem, what steps does the character take towards solving the problem, and how do they finally solve the problem.

Read all summer long, at least 100 minutes a week! Practice math, don't lose those multiplication and division skills (thatquiz, freerice, or log on to iready).
