Step-by-step on Everything We Do!
To Ensure a Great Outcome Everytime!
1. Preparation : Clear the area, remove grease, and clean the floor thoroughly. Repair cracks and joints with epoxy gel filler, sanding them smooth once cured.
2. Surface Profiling: Use a diamond grinder or shot blaster to remove the top layer, opening the pores for better adhesion.
3. Clean & Dry: Vacuum all dust and ensure the concrete is completely dry. Test for moisture by taping a plastic sheet down for 24 hours.
4. Prime/Seal Coat: Apply a thin primer or sealer coat with a roller to prevent outgassing bubbles. Allow this to dry (usually 24 hours).
5. Mix Epoxy: Mix the epoxy resin and hardener according to the manufacturer's ratio (often 2:1 or 1:1) using a drill mixer.
6. Apply Base/Main Coat: Pour the epoxy in ribbons, spread with a notched squeegee, and back-roll with a microfiber roller.
7. Add Details (Optional): Add decorative flakes, chips, or metallic additives while the base coat is wet.
8. Topcoat & Cure: Apply a high-performance topcoat (e.g., polyurethane) for scratch resistance. Allow the floor to cure fully (often 24-72 hours) before walking or driving on it.
