1. Cyclonic Disturbances & Hydrometeorological Scenarios in the Mahanadi River Basin 

• MSc Project (NIT Rourkela)

• Advisors: Prof Jagabandhu Panda

  1. Analyzed flood susceptibility (1961-2023) using high-resolution meteorological and hydrological data.

  2. Developed the Topographic Flood Susceptibility Index (ToFSI) and Total Flood Susceptibility Index (TFSI).

  3. Key Finding: Identified a significant decline in cyclone frequency but heightened vulnerability in southeastern areas due to interacting hydro-meteorological factors.

2. Mathematical Modelling & Graph Theory on Bi-Variable Prey Predator Model 

• BSc Project (Presidency University)

• Advisors: Dr Subhas Khajanchi and Prof Avisekh Adhikari

  1. Modeled a three-species closed ecosystem (grass, grasshoppers, birds) using nonlinear differential equations.

  2. Analyzed stability using Jacobian matrices and eigenvalues to identify feasible ecological states.
