How much payment for entrance exam: Php 500.00

Bridging Program in Maritime education is a mandatory enrollment & completion of maritime cadets to be taken before the opening of regular classes. This is being enroll by those students enroll in BSMT & BSMARE but their Senior High School (SHS) track/strand are NOT aligned in maritime progress aligned programs are: (Pre- Baccalaureate maritime, TVL-Maritime) other than this, 1st year maritime students SHOULD enroll & complete the BRIDGING PROGRAM (40 hours).

ENGLISH + / MATH + are the courses to be enroll by any freshmen enrolled for a particular school year, when the result of their entrance examination FAILED in English or Math area.

Age limit: should not be more than 24 years old during the Completion of the Program.

However, if there will be backer or someone to help/assist for Shipboard Training (SBT) After completing the program- no age requirement

 

Height limit: should not be less than 5.0 “in height

Maritime Programs Strictly follows STCW’ 78 As Amended requirements, any enrollee/s who failed in Ishihara/ Audiometry or in Hepa B cannot enroll in Maritime Programs, BUT can enroll in other business programs offered by the school (like BS Hospitality & BS Tourism) by the school and still can work in sea going vessels like Cruise Lines & other related sea-base employment.

Yes, transferee from other Schools can enroll.

YES, it is a must to submit medical requirements

YES, can enroll however TESDA courses are not credited.

Transferee from other school, Transcript of Records or Certification of Grades will be subject for evaluation. The school shall follow CAED policy on subject/course crediting (same course description, same units for (lecture & laboratory)

I Want to transfer from Mariners Legazpi to another College. What are the requirements and steps?

ON-BOARD TRAINING

Yes, the school offers onboard training (OBT) assistance during the deployment of cadets. The school has MOA both domestic/local and International shipping companies.

The Onboard Training Supervisors/Coordinator responsible to handle OBT from deployment to monitoring.

-   Approved by Phil. Coast Guard/duly notarized First and Last page

-   12 crew list – 1 for every month

-  (Approved by Phil. Coast Guard/duly notarized first page and last page)

-  36 Crew list and MDSD for 36 months – 1 for every month
