I'm trying to understand what attributes the music payer tile shows, for some reason my title show next, previous, volume, mute and something else the present a label with an unknown value, and when I click on it make a call to the off function but wont toggle just call off, add a toggle function to the driver with the same result.

please if someone can clarify?

If you wanted it to interact with your device directly you would need to supply the track data to the tile somehow remove the 'unknown'. You can make any custom track name like 'Playing' and then you will see the play/pause button and be able to map that. However it a still might not work, because your amp is not a 'music player'. It has no play/pause.

so basically youtube music website has a small mini player that comes up when u minimize full music player but in my case the mini player just displays as a blank area nothing and it doesnt show anything for some reason .*

I spent about 2 days trying to get media player music transferred to my usb stick to play music in my car. Media Player would not recognise usb as a syncable device. The only way I could find to do this is probably a round-a-bout way but at least it worked. I have Windows 7

I will make a music player application and I want to automatically select songs from external storage and sd card and reflect them to the list. When the user selects a song from the list, I want it to play in the background. Please understand.

I changed all the song formats to mp3, as many were wma etc and then a few more appeared when I put the card in the mp3 player, but I have about 3000 songs on the card and still only 300+ are actually showing and playing.

The reason this may be relevant is that a computer (or in this case your stereo system) cannot see files loaded in both modes at the same time. If your player is set to Auto, it can (and will) connect in either mode occasionally.

While I can see the files in PC or iMac, when inserted to my car audio player (CED2000), I can only see those files that I deleted earlier and a few files from the the last copying action that I did (I just re-create a few more music file from iMac and turn them into .mp3 files.

Not, not really. You probably find this character in a column of the files list.

Have a look at the definition for "value" and you will probably see something

which means that the \\ are defined as separating characters but you could just as well take any other character. Foobar, I think, takes the semicolon as separator

The point I try to make: as there as so few players that actually the real multi-value fields, there are some players that interpret special characters in a single-value field as separator and display the items separated like that as individual items.

I know that e.g. WMP use the semicolon in ARTIST, GENRE, ALBUMARTIST and COMPOSER to create individual entries.

E.g. Stock; Aitken; Waterman would show an entry under A for Aitken, one under S for Stock and one under W for Waterman.

And all this without a multi-value field.

So it could be that there are other players around that do it like that.

And whatever the implementation would be: MP3tag can help you to set the right format.

I forgot to say that native mobile apps are still in beta and currently limited to apple. General problem, i am unable to play music from the owncloud sync folder, because no music was found. When i take a look with a file explorer, the data is there.
