After nearly four decades in forensic handwriting analysis, behavioral assessment, and criminal justice work, Dr. Mozelle Martin has stepped away from routine public casework. Her current focus is writing, research, and limited consulting related to ethics, accountability, and system-level decision-making.
Dr. Martin does not accept private or individual cases. She provides consultative support only on select cold cases, typically in collaboration with established investigative teams or agencies.
Individuals seeking active case assistance or training in forensic handwriting examination should contact one of the following trusted colleagues:
Karen Weinberg—a widely respected forensic handwriting expert and longtime investigative collaborator.
Terry Shinabarger—a senior forensic document examiner with decades of professional experience.
When contacting either professional, please include “Mozelle sent me” so your inquiry is recognized as legitimate.
After nearly 40 years in forensic behavioral science, Dr. Martin developed a structured rehabilitation model focused on accountability and harm reduction.
P.E.T. (Psychosensory Empathy Training) uses immersive virtual reality and multisensory feedback to address empathy deficits in individuals convicted of abuse-based crimes. The program is designed to restore emotional awareness and responsibility toward vulnerable victims without relying on punishment, shame, or coercion.
