The Mower County DFL needs your support, both financial support and your time and talents.

To donate, please send checks made out to Mower County DFL, PO Box 241, Austin, MN 55912 or you may donate through the ActBlue website at this link.

You will receive a Political Contribution Refund form along with your receipt.  This will entitle you to a refund from the state of Minnesota - $75 for individuals, $150 for couples - through Minnesota's Political Contribution Refund (PCR) program.  Note that you may receive a maximum of one PCR per year.

Upcoming Events and Volunteer opportunities in Austin:

2/22, 1 pm, Veterans will gather on 14th St NW in front of the community college (across from Kwik Trip) to protest the negative impacts on our veterans resulting from actions taken by the Trump administration.  They ask that we come and support them.  Bring signs reflecting your support for democracy, the constitution, and the rule of law.

Friday Bridge Protests will continue again starting 2/27 4pm on the 4th St Bridge

2/28, 2 pm, ArtWorks Center, "Art as Resistance" event. Protest song sing-along, poetry readings, book exchange, and community visual arts projects.  Hosted by Mower County DFL.

3/12, 6 pm, Austin Public Library, Monthly Mower County DFL meeting

Monthly Mower County DFL  meetings are typically the 2nd Thursday of the month at 6 pm at the Austin Public Libary but you should contact MowerCtyDFL@gmail.com to confirm the date/time before attending as it changes depending on other events on the calendar.
