Privacy by Design

Keeper is a local-first application. Your sensitive data—including usernames, passwords, and records—is stored exclusively on your device. We do not transmit your data to any external servers or third-party services.

Data Encryption

All records are stored in a secure local database, protected using AES-256-GCM encryption via the Android Jetpack Security library. Your data is encrypted with keys derived from your Master Password, which never leaves your device.

Permissions and Usage

• Biometric Authentication: Used to unlock the app securely. Biometric data is handled by the Android system; Keeper never sees or stores your fingerprint or face data.

• Storage Access: Used exclusively for the "Backup & Restore" feature to allow you to save encrypted backups to your device's storage.

No Third-Party Tracking

Keeper does not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. Your app usage remains completely private.

Data Control

You have full control over your data. You can delete all information by clearing the app's storage in device settings or by uninstalling the app.
