This Privacy Policy applies to Movix - Video Status Maker. Your privacy is important to us. This app allows users to view, create, edit, save, and share video status content. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we keep it safe.
Information We Collect
We only collect information required to provide app features and improve app performance.

• Email Address, only when you contact us or submit a report.
• Message / Query, only when you submit feedback or a report.
2. DEVICE PERMISSIONS WE USE:
• Photos / Videos / Media Access – required to select, preview, edit, and save videos or images.
• Audio Access – required when you select audio or music from your device.
• Microphone Permission – only if you use audio recording features inside the app.
• Notification Permission – used to send app updates, feature alerts, and important notifications.
• Internet Access – required for loading app content, Firebase services, updates, and communication.
Third-Party Services Used
1. Firebase Cloud Messaging
Used to send push notifications. Firebase may collect device tokens and basic device information required for notification delivery.
2. Firebase Firestore Database
Used to store and manage app-related content such as templates, categories, reports, feedback, or app configuration data.
3. Firebase Analytics
Used to understand general app usage, improve features, and enhance user experience. Firebase Analytics may collect non-personal usage data such as app events, device type, app version, and general interaction data.
4. Firebase Crashlytics
Used to detect app crashes and improve app stability. Crashlytics may collect crash logs, device information, app version, operating system version, and technical diagnostic data.
We do not use Google AdMob or advertising services at this time.

• We do NOT use AdMob or personalised advertising currently.
How We Use Data
We use data only for:
• Providing video status maker features.
• Allowing users to select, edit, save, and share media.
• Loading templates, categories, and app content from Firebase Firestore.
• Sending push notifications through Firebase Cloud Messaging.
• Understanding app usage through Firebase Analytics.
• Fixing crashes and improving stability using Firebase Crashlytics.
• Responding to user reports, feedback, or support requests.
Media Files
Your selected images, videos, and audio files are used only inside the app for editing, previewing, creating, and saving video status content. We do not upload your personal media files to our server unless a feature clearly requires user action and permission.
Data Storage
We may store limited app-related data in Firebase Firestore, such as reports, feedback, app configuration, template data, or category data. We do not intentionally store your private media files, WhatsApp chats, or personal identity information.
Data Security
We use reasonable security measures to protect app data, including secure Firebase services and HTTPS communication where applicable. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
International Data Transfers
The Service Provider or its third-party service providers may transfer personal data to countries outside your country of residence, including outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, the Service Provider will use appropriate mechanisms.

The Application is not intended for children under 16 years of age, or such higher age as required by applicable law. The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit data from children or market the Application to them.
Where parental or guardian consent is required under applicable law, the Application is not intended for use without that consent. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 16 years of age in violation of applicable law. In the event the Service Provider discovers that a child has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this from their servers.
