General Questions
What is MWE?
Movement Wrestling Entertainment (MWE) is a CPU vs CPU sim league in WWE 2K25, where viewers can buy their own custom wrestlers, compete in matches, and level up by winning.
How do I join MWE?
To join, you must purchase a wrestler with a starting overall rating (OVR). Pricing is as follows:
60 OVR – $10
70 OVR – $20
80 OVR – $40
90 OVR – $60
95 OVR (Max Starting OVR) – $80
Wrestlers gain attributes by winning matches and lose attributes if they lose.
Where do I sign up?
You can purchase a wrestler during the stream, and then you'll be given a link to fill out the application.
Do I need to play?
No! All matches are CPU vs CPU, meaning the game AI controls all wrestlers. Your wrestler fights for you!
Wrestler Customization & Moveset Selection
How do I customize my wrestler?
Once you buy a wrestler, you’ll be provided details on how, on stream through the application process.
Can I create my own wrestler if I own WWE 2K25?
Yes! If you own WWE 2K25, you can create your wrestler and upload them online for ProblemWright to download into MWE. However, your wrestler’s moveset will be reviewed to ensure it:
✅ Matches your wrestler’s persona, build, and weight
✅ Doesn’t include moves/entrances that are already exclusively taken
If your moveset does not match your wrestler’s style or includes an already claimed Finisher and/or Entrance, it will be vetoed and replaced with a random one instead. No complaints.
⚠️ Exclusive Finishers & Entrances are first come, first served! If you want to lock in a specific signature/finisher or entrance, you must purchase it before someone else does.
I don't own the game. I'll need help creating my wrestler, can someone make it for me?
Yes! If you don’t own WWE 2K25 and/or need help designing your wrestler, the whole process be outlined in the application process after you've purchased a wrestler.
I don't own the game. Can I choose my moves?
Yes! You will choose 2 Signature moves and 2 Finisher moves from the MWE Move Selection Menu. Because you don’t own WWE 2K25, your wrestler will be assigned a moveset based on your chosen fighting style during the application process, such as High-Flyer, Brawler, or Submission Specialist. This ensures variety in the ring, so not everyone uses the same strikes or moves. You won’t be selecting every individual move unless you own the game and can set it up yourself, but your wrestler will still have a unique and well-balanced moveset that fits their style.
What if I have the game, can I pick all my own moves, and pick moves that don’t fit my wrestler’s style?
Yes, but the moves must make sense for your wrestler’s size, weight, and build.
❌ A 7-foot, 500-pound super heavyweight powerhouse won't be doing 450 Splashes or Springboard Moonsaults.
✅ Choose moves that fit your wrestler’s realistic capabilities.
🚧Moves that don’t fit will be found and vetoed, and randomly replaced. No complaining.
What are Exclusive Signatures/Finishers & Entrances?
Exclusive Signature/Finisher ($25) – Locks in a finisher so no other wrestler can use it.
Exclusive Entrance ($25) – Ensures only your wrestler has that entrance and theme music.
🔴 Moves highlighted in red on the Roster Page have already been claimed and cannot be selected.
League Structure & Matches
How does MWE work?
MWE starts with exhibition matches, where wins and losses won't impact wrestler attributes while the roster fills up. Once enough wrestlers are added into the universe, we’ll expand into RAW and SMACKDOWN divisions, and introduce Titles, Tag Teams, and Factions.
What match types will be used?
Exhibition matches for now, once the roster fills out, more details will be announced.
Can women wrestle men?
Yes! Since WWE 2K25 allows intergender matches, both Men’s and Women’s wrestlers will be ranked together and can compete against each other. So if you'd like to create a Women's Wrestler instead of a Men's one, you can!
Standings, Rankings, & Titles
How are attributes determined?
After your purchase of a created wrestler at a base overall:
Winning a match = Attribute increase 📈
Losing a match = Attribute decrease 📉
Standings will also determine future title shots, similar to UFC!
Where can I see the current standings?
Standings will be updated in real-time and can be viewed on the Standings Page once RAW and SMACKDOWN divisions are finalized.
Are there championships?
Yes! Titles will be introduced once divisions are set. These will include:
🏆 Singles Titles
🏆 Tag Team Titles
🏆 Trios Titles
Factions & Tag Teams
Can I create a faction or stable?
Yes! Factions and stables will be introduced, and you'll be given further detail as the roster grows, and we start RAW and SMACKDOWN.
Can I form a tag team?
Yes, but tag teams must be approved before they are officially recognized on the website.
Will there be Trios teams?
Yes! Trios teams will be allowed, and there will be Trios Championships available to be fought for as well.
Matchmaking & Scheduling
How often are matches held?
MWE runs matches on stream days, with match cards manually booked more often than not, by your attendance in chat. Once divisions are set, matches will happen more frequently, whether you're around or not, and most likely ran by the matchmaking AI to involve storylines and rivalries. But don't worry, you can use this website to view match outcomes and standings, and watch VODs, if you're unable to be in chat during streams.
Can I request a match?
You can ask/volunteer your wrestler while you're in chat, but it's ultimately the streamers choice.
What happens if my wrestler loses too much?
Losing causes attribute decreases, but your wrestler can always bounce back by winning matches.
Can wrestlers be released from MWE?
If a wrestler underperforms consistently and their stats drop too low, Casket Matches may be implemented, where the loser gets deleted from the universe.
Other Important Details
What happens if I can’t watch the stream?
VODs will be available, and Match results and standings will be updated on this website, so you can check in anytime.
Will there be special events?
Yes! MWE will host special PPV-style events, including tournaments and championship matches. Stay tuned!
Can wrestlers be released from MWE?
If a wrestler underperforms consistently and their stats drop too low, a special circumstance happens(Sabotage, Streamer's decision), or someone who's created a wrestler but then completely disappears from the community, Casket Matches may be implemented, where the loser gets deleted from the universe.
What happens when a wrestler loses a Casket Match?
If a wrestler loses a Casket Match, they are removed from MWE, but they won’t be gone forever. They can still be bought back in the future. However, if they return, they will lose a level in attribute progress—for example, an 80 OVR wrestler would drop to a 70 OVR when brought back.
If a wrestler loses a casket match and gets deleted, do their Exclusive Entrances and/or Signatures/Finishers become available again?
Yes! If a wrestler with an Exclusive Entrance and/or Signature/Finisher loses a casket match and is deleted from MWE, their previously claimed exclusives become available for others to purchase. First come, first served! Once it’s back on the table, anyone can claim it—so act fast!
What is No-Casket Match Protection?
No-Casket Match Protection can be purchased and prevents a wrestler from being placed in Casket Matches, which means they cannot be deleted from MWE. This functions similarly to a No-Trade Clause in the NBA, ensuring their spot in MWE remains secure.
