On behalf of UNCF's Institute for Capacity Building and the SNCC Legacy Project to invite your firm to submit a proposal to assist in the design of a revolutionary online course focused on community activism and organizing. This innovative course will launch on our new learning platform, HBCUv.

The Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC) was instrumental in advancing human and civil rights, especially during the 1960s. Our vision is an interactive course where students explore activism, community organizing, and movement history through primary sources and introductions to key organizers, groups, and materials. By transforming SNCC's digital assets into engaging content, we aim to ignite students' passion for driving social change.

We seek an equity-minded instructional design partner equally dedicated to amplifying historically important voices. Collaboration is key—together we'll build a digital experience that brings this influential American history to life. Your expertise in participatory design, social justice education, and translating archival materials into impactful learning is essential.

We welcome proposals from firms and small businesses that can complete the entire project end-to-end, as well as those who can complete components of the project.  Components of the project include project management, instructional design (course/lesson development), multimedia development, graphic design/creative, instructional technology to include technical design and software.

Proposals will be evaluated based on:

·  Technical expertise and development quality

·  Project management experience

·  Similar course creation experience

·  Pricing models

·  Mission alignment

This is an unprecedented opportunity to engage students with SNCC's living legacy. Let's join hands and leverage your talents to create transformative, social justice-centered learning. We look forward to your proposal for this timely project.
