Move2Wake Privacy Policy
Effective Date: October 5, 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to the Move2Wake Android application ("Application"), published by ZetaWorks ("Service Provider").
Move2Wake provides alarms and movement-based wake-up challenges. The Application does not require a Move2Wake account, does not display third-party advertisements, and may offer an optional one-time Premium purchase.
1. Camera and Movement Detection
With your permission, Move2Wake uses the front camera during supported movement challenges and challenge tests.
Camera frames are processed on your device using Google ML Kit Pose Detection to detect body positions and measure challenge progress.
Move2Wake does not record or save photos or videos, upload camera images to a server operated by the Service Provider, use camera images for facial recognition or identity verification, store a history of camera frames or body-position coordinates, or use camera images for advertising.
Live camera frames and pose results are used for the current challenge. Google ML Kit’s technical diagnostic data is described separately below.
You can decline camera permission or revoke it through Android Settings. Camera-based challenges cannot operate normally without this permission. When the camera is unavailable during a ringing alarm, the Application provides alternative alarm-dismissal options.
2. Information Stored on Your Device
Move2Wake stores information needed for its features in local Application storage. This may include:
• Alarm times, names, enabled status, repeat days and specific dates.
• Movement challenge types, targets and difficulty settings.
• Snooze settings.
• Selected alarm sound names and references to selected audio files.
• Volume and gradual-volume preferences.
• Wake-up history, alarm outcomes, statistics and achievement progress.
• Theme, onboarding and other Application preferences.
• Alarm reliability test results.
• Temporary information needed to manage active alarms and challenges.
• A cached indication of Premium purchase ownership.
Move2Wake does not upload these local alarm records to a database operated by the Service Provider.
Android backup or device-transfer features may include and restore Application data, depending on your device, backup provider and account settings. These services are managed by the platform or backup provider rather than the Service Provider.
3. Selected Alarm Sounds and Audio Files
Move2Wake lets you select system ringtones and, where available, an audio file through Android’s system picker.
The Application stores the selected sound’s name and a reference needed to access and play it. It does not upload the selected audio file to the Service Provider or scan unrelated files on your device.
You can change a sound selection or delete the associated alarm. Android manages access permissions for selected files.
Move2Wake does not request microphone access for movement detection.
4. Third-Party Services and Technical Diagnostics
Move2Wake uses Android CameraX for camera access, Google ML Kit Pose Detection for on-device movement detection, Google Play Billing for optional Premium purchases and purchase restoration, and Android system services for alarms, notifications and related functionality.
Although camera processing occurs on your device, third-party SDKs may communicate technical information to their service providers.
According to Google’s ML Kit documentation, ML Kit collects technical information for diagnostics and usage analytics. This includes device and Application information, installation identifiers, API configuration, usage events, performance metrics and error information.
ML Kit Pose Detection also uses Firebase Remote Config and Firebase Installations for remote configuration and diagnostics. Google documents HTTPS encryption for ML Kit diagnostic transmissions.
Move2Wake does not include a separate developer-operated behavioral analytics service or advertising SDK in this version.

5. Premium Purchases
Move2Wake may offer optional lifetime Premium access through a one-time Google Play purchase. This purchase is not a subscription.
Google Play processes payment information. The Application receives purchase status and purchase identifiers or tokens needed to unlock, acknowledge and restore Premium access. It also stores an ownership status locally.
The Application does not receive your full payment card details, bank account credentials or Google account password through Google Play Billing.
Eligible purchases can be restored using the Google Play account that made the purchase. Clearing Application storage or uninstalling the Application does not itself cancel a purchase or delete Google’s purchase records.
Google handles transaction records according to its policies and applicable requirements.
6. Permissions and Device Settings
Camera: Detects body movement during supported challenges and tests.
Notifications: Displays alarm notifications and alerts.
Exact alarms: Schedules alarms for the time selected by the user.
Full-screen alarm access: Displays the alarm interface over the lock screen when permitted by Android.
Foreground operation: Supports an active ringing alarm.
Vibration: Provides vibration during alarms.
Device reboot notifications: Allows scheduled alarms to be restored after a device restart.
Battery settings: Optional unrestricted battery operation can improve alarm reliability on some devices.
You can manage permissions through Android Settings. Disabling permissions or restricting background operation may affect related features or alarm reliability.
7. Internet Access and Data Sharing
Core alarm scheduling and movement processing are designed to operate on your device. Google services may use internet access for purchase information, payment processing, purchase restoration, ownership checks, SDK configuration and technical diagnostics.
The Service Provider does not operate a backend database for your alarm records in this version.
The Service Provider does not sell or rent your personal information and does not share locally stored alarm records, camera images or movement results with advertisers or data brokers.
Google and other platform services process information needed to provide their services as described in their own policies.
If you contact the Service Provider by email, information you voluntarily provide is used to respond to your request. Your email provider and the Service Provider’s email provider also process that correspondence.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
Local Application records remain until they are changed or deleted through available Application controls, or until you clear Application storage or uninstall the Application.
Deleting an alarm does not necessarily delete separate wake-up history, statistics or achievement records. To remove all local Application records, clear Application storage through Android Settings.
Backups may retain copies after local deletion. You can manage or delete backups using your device or backup provider’s settings. Restoring a backup may restore previously saved Application data.
Google manages its own diagnostic and transaction records under its policies.
Support correspondence may be retained for as long as reasonably needed to respond to requests, maintain relevant support records or meet applicable obligations.
Move2Wake does not require a Service Provider-operated account, so there is no Move2Wake cloud account to delete.
9. Security
Move2Wake relies on Android’s Application storage protections and permission system. Google documents encryption in transit for ML Kit diagnostic transmissions.
No electronic storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security. You should protect your device, backups and Google account against unauthorized access.
10. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated when Application features, data practices or third-party services change.
The updated policy will be published on the policy website with a revised effective date. Privacy information is also available in the Application’s Settings.
