I am a cybersecurity and artificial intelligence expert with over 15 years of academic and industry experience across Australia, Jordan, and Qatar. My research focuses on detecting and preventing cybercrime, spanning AI-driven cybersecurity, digital forensics, malware analysis, federated learning, IoT security, and blockchain.

I have published more than 100 peer-reviewed articles in high-quality international journals and conferences, with over 3,700 citations and an h-index of 28. I have been recognised by Stanford University and Elsevier among the world's top 2% most influential scientists (2023–2025).

Bio: Dr. Moutaz Alazab is an expert in computer security and artificial intelligence, bringing together over 15 years of industry and academic experience. He has supervised Master's and PhD students and contributed to over 100 publications in international journals and conferences, supported by several international research grants in AI and cybersecurity. He earned his PhD in Information Technology from Deakin University, Australia, in 2014. He also holds a Graduate Certificate in Digital Technologies in Learning and Teaching from Torrens University Australia. He received his B.Eng. in Computer Engineering from Al-Balqa Applied University, Jordan, in 2009. Dr. Alazab is recognised among the top 2% of scientists worldwide by Stanford University and Elsevier (2023–2025) and serves as an editor and guest editor for well-known journals. His research interests encompass artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, malware analysis, mobile security, blockchain, data analytics, cloud security, IoT security, and digital forensics, with a primary focus on detecting and preventing cybercrime.
