The cemetery is located adjacent to Victoria University of Wellington. There is no drive-in access to the cemetery and parking near the cemetery is scarce. There are bus stops at the university (Stop ID: 5915) and at the corner of Salamanca Rd and the Terrace (Stop ID: 5914). These are serviced by buses 18, 21, 23, 37 and N3. Go to the Metlink site for bus times. It is a short walk from either stop to the cemetery.
Pleas note that many of the burial records for the cemetery were lost when fire badly damaged the church of St Mary of the Angels in 1918. Much information on burials has been obtained from newspapers of the day through Papers Past, but the only way to locate burial sites is from the remaining monuments and historical maps.
