Common questions
How do I save my progress or move it to a new device?
Open Settings & Backup, tap "Copy backup code" and save the code somewhere safe, like an email to yourself. On the new device, paste the code under "Restore progress."
How do I unlock the certificate?
Reach 70% on the Progress & Certificates screen for the Mountaineer certificate, or 100% for the Mountain State Legend certificate. Tap any certificate to preview it before then.
How do I print my certificate?
Open the unlocked certificate, type your name and tap "Save as PDF to print." Choose Print, Save to Files or AirDrop from the share sheet. It prints on standard letter paper, landscape.
Can I open all the Trail Quest stops at once?
Yes. Open Settings & Backup and turn on "Unlock all Trail Quest stops."
The app isn't reading questions aloud.
Turn on "Read aloud buttons" in Settings & Backup, then tap the speaker on any card. Make sure your iPhone or iPad isn't on silent.
Do you collect any information?
No. There are no accounts, ads or tracking. Everything stays on your device. See our Privacy Policy page.
