Puppy Choosing Process
We do things a little differently
Rather than choosing your puppy based solely on color or gender, we empower you to choose a puppy that is the best fit for your lifestyle and preferences. We have had great success with matching our puppies with owners this way.
We complete temperament testing on our puppies at 7 weeks old. This temperament testing assesses confidence, human focus, resiliency, assertiveness, motivation, sight/sound sensitivity, energy level, touch tolerance, and toy/prey drive. Temperament testing will be shared with those on the reservation list to assist you in making your decision.
We have reservation list members visit puppies at around 6 weeks, and puppies are not chosen until after temperament testing at 7 weeks of age. Puppy choosing day is generally the same day as go home day (8 weeks). Puppies are chosen in order of the reservation list on puppy choosing day. If you cannot be present to come and pick your puppy in person, we will discuss via phone or FaceTime based on temperament testing and your preferences.
If you do not feel comfortable joining the reservation list because you are not sure of which puppy you will get, we suggest waiting to see what puppies are left after puppy choosing day. We are happy to share their temperament testing with you at that time. Any remaining puppies will be available on a first come, first served basis to those who have approved applications.
Application Process
Before you can be placed on our reservation list for a puppy, you must fill out the application. Please include as much information as possible regarding your living situation (members of household, type of home, etc.), lifestyle, working arrangements, plans to train/exercise your dog. This information helps with approval and puppy selection based on temperament testing. We will contact you via email, phone call, or FaceTime to answer any questions you may have.
Once your application has been approved, you may fill out the purchase contract and pay your reservation fee (see below).
Pricing Information
What's Included
In the first 5 days, dew claws are removed (if present). Puppies will have age-appropriate vaccinations, check-ups, and be dewormed. Your puppy will come home with shot records, final payment receipt, a toy/blanket with litter mates' and parent's scent, and a sample of the food we have been feeding the puppies. A copy of your purchase contract/bill of sale will be emailed to you upon completion.
1-year Health Warranty and Spay/Neuter Contract
Our dogs come with a one-year health warranty as well as our support for the life of the dog. We require a spay/neuter contract. All of this information is included in the purchase contract, and you will fill this out before you pay your reservation fee.
Final Payment
Reservation fees can be made through Square (link above) or Venmo (I will give you my username via email). Final payments must be made in cash, in full, when you pick up your puppy.

Purchase Contract Information
Once your application has been approved, and before you place your non-refundable reservation fee for the purchase of a puppy, please fill out your purchase contract using the link below. This ensures that you agree to/understand all of the terms of the contract before placing this non-refundable reservation fee. Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions.
Reservation Fee
A non-refundable $500 reservation fee will place you on the list for a bernedoodle puppy or hold a currently available bernedoodle puppy. Your name will roll over for the next litter if you do not choose a puppy from a current litter. You must be approved with an application and fill out the puppy purchase contract prior to paying your reservation fee. This ensures that you agree to/understand all of the terms of the contract before placing this non-refundable fee.
Once your application has been approved and you have completed your purchase contract, please make the payment for your reservation fee within 24 hours. If you do not make payment within 24 hours, the contract becomes null and void. The reservation/choosing list goes in order of payment receipt, not contract receipt.
