That's a snazzy jar you've got there. It would be a shame to just throw it out... I've got some ideas for what to do with it!
First though... hey, are you local? I'll refill your jar at a discount. Contact me to arrange details. You don't even need to clean out the jar!
Otherwise, you'll want to clean out and repurpose your jar. To clean it out, set your candle in the freezer for a few hours and then use a butter knife to dislodge the wax. It should pop right out (and by the way, if you have a wax melter, throw your wax in it to get the very last life out of it!). Get as much wax out before washing with soap and water. So, now what?
The absolute easiest and most elegant solution - use it as a tealight holder!
Get crafty! Put literally anything pretty in here. Dried flowers, a pinecone, marbles... be creative!
I don't really recommend reusing this as a rocks glass for drinking things in case there is any wax or oil residue, but these things are actually skin safe in small quantities, so you can store a homemade body scrub in it!
Psst! All of the above would be great homemade gift ideas!
If you do very thoroughly clean and sanitize your glass, you could use it as a candy or treat jar!
Plant something in it!
Use it as a vase!
Make it an organizer! Small things like lip balms, bobby pins, and loose change fit well in here.
Finally, if nothing else, please just recycle the glass and mail me back the lid. I'll throw you a discount on your next purchase!
