Photos and Camera Data: When you use the App to identify a mountain, your photo is sent to a third-party AI service for analysis. Photos are processed in real time and are not stored on our servers after the identification is complete.
Saved Collections: If you choose to save identified mountains to your personal collection, this data is stored locally on your device.
Purchase Information: Subscription and purchase data is managed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or have access to your payment details, credit card information, or Apple ID credentials.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
We want to be clear about the data we do not collect:
We do not collect your name, email address, or phone number.
We do not collect location data or GPS coordinates.
We do not track your browsing activity or app usage patterns.
We do not use cookies or similar tracking technologies.
We do not create user profiles or accounts.
We do not sell, rent, or share any personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services to provide core functionality:
AI Image Analysis Service: Photos submitted for mountain identification are processed by a third-party artificial intelligence provider. These images are transmitted securely, used solely for the purpose of identification, and are not retained after processing is complete.
Apple App Store: Subscription management, payment processing, and app distribution are handled by Apple Inc. under their own privacy policy and terms of service.
4. Data Storage and Security
All user-generated data (such as saved mountain collections) is stored locally on your device. We do not operate external servers that store your personal data. We implement reasonable security measures to protect any data transmitted during the identification process.
5. Children's Privacy
The App is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Since the App does not collect personal information from any user, no special provisions for children's data are necessary.
6. Your Rights
Since we do not collect or store personal data on our servers, there is no personal data for us to provide, modify, or delete. Your saved collections can be deleted at any time by removing them within the App or by uninstalling the App from your device.
