President:
The president will run and plan meetings. Help everyone else with their positions if asked. Answer questions. They will represent us at the neighborhood Civic meetings, too.
Vice President:
The vice president will assist the president with all of their duties. They will also take over the president’s position if the president is not able to be at an event or a meeting. This allows them to learn the ropes of being a leader.
Secretary:
The secretary will take meeting minutes and inform people who were absent of what happened. As well as taking attendance and keeping records of money.
Co-Event Coordinators (x2):
Social chairs will plan and run all the social events. They will confirm and schedule all the meeting locations (Like for some of the spring and summer meetings, they will book the shelter). Along with trying to find some outside of the club volunteer opportunities, they are in charge of planning the interest meeting/event for the end of the year to help gain new members.
Communications & Calendar Coordinator:
Their main job is to run social media and send reminders/messages to everyone in the club. They will also run and update the website frequently. This person will also have a summer task with coming up with the meeting & known event schedule. (Then will get them approved by the Advisor & President, but they are not allowed to make changes without telling and agreeing with the social chairs).
Middle School Representative:
A person who comes to the meetings, and they may be asked to assist the other officers in projects and assignments. By doing this, they will be learning the ropes of being a leader.
Adult Advisor:
The advisor is an adult from our neighborhood. They will oversee the meetings and events. They can sign off for service hours, too. Also, they will ask us any questions that the Mountainbrook Civic Board has for us.
