I just want to give a MAD, LOVING shout-out to Karen Weary of Mountain Montessori in Williams, Oregon.
You are fully present and loving of EVERY child through your doors. You are patient and considerate and deeply caring. You take in ALL the children needing a gently, loving "school" experience! You are not picky and exclusive as many would be, but rather completely EMBRACE the spectrum of learners who cross your path, and their individual needs with the UTMOST love. Youa re truly aligned with the spirit of community and genuine affirmation of being alive and the need to thrive. You put your HEART into your work AND your hands. You are all in!

Our boys have been attending Mountain Montessori for a few years now and really enjoy the school. I know they are getting a good education, and are excited to come home to tell us what they are learning. Karen has a small classroom which means she gives a lot of attention to each student. My kindergartener is working on multiplication "because other kids did so I wanted to!" This school really works for our family and I think you should consider enrolling your children in Mountain Montessori.

She's definitely a master teacher and your child will not only be happier, but will learn the concepts and skills necessary to be a fulfilled adult. The world needs more of these 'micro-schools', that are really like an extended family. 'Personalized' attention is so very important so that the child feels both recognized and accepted, meaning they are loved.
