Ponte' Roma

This material has recently become even more popular, as jersey fabrics are a great practical solution for the unpredictable early-autumn weather. 

The name ‘Ponte Di Roma’ roughly translates as Roman Bridge, as the fabric’s structure resembles classic roman bridges - which is where the inspiration for this name came from. This soft and sturdy fabric is a double-knit material, which essentially means there are two layers of fabric knitted together with two sets of needles. Ponte Roma is a thicker fabric, with a slight horizontal ribbed appearance, and is available in lightweight, midweight and heavyweight varieties.
