Please plan to meet at The Wine Room patio by 7:00 am. Following a quick meeting, we will begin marking the course, setting up tables, and ensuring everything is ready for our participants.
The following is an overview of the race day activities the volunteers will help manage.
Help with directions for participants at strategic points
Setup replenish water/ nutrition stations/tables
Help with bands for participants each lap
Help participants find bathrooms and with other needs
Help setup directionals, cones, chalk that we use to guide participants.
Other needed support
Multiple bathroom locations will be available during the event. All are in close proximity to the start/finish line and the route.
Porta Potties will be available near start/finish
The Wine Room will open bathrooms around 7:30am.
QT bathrooms will be available throughout the morning.
The locations will be reviewed pre-race and event volunteers will be able available to direct participants as needed. Click the image to see an enlarged view of the locations.
The Mount Afton Challenge is happening rain or shine. In the event of severe snow or ice looming in the race day forecast, all participants and volunteers will receive communications regarding any potential adjustments to the schedule.
