Hostels Of Mount Abu

Mount Abu city has been for a very long time an educational hub. With the closing down of boarding facilities in major schools in the plains the demand for boarding schools in the hills have seen a great influx of students heading for Mount Abu. The few residential schools here do not have the capacity to cater to the thousands of students that head this way hence, the demand for private hostel gained importance and over time more than forty or so registered hostel have evolved. There are quite a number of smaller private homes running hostels but are not registered.

The city has become an educational center due to the availability of good education, very good studying environment, no riots, no strikes or bands and safe environs. Most of the hostels in Abu are pretty well set up to cater to the need of school going students. These hostel accommodations are very reasonable when compared to the boarding fees charged at other educational hubs all over the country.

As I mentioned above, there are over 40 odd hostels to choose from. It all depends on the facilities these private hostels have on offer. The greater the infrastructure a hostel has, the higher the fees. So once again it boils down to how much you are willing to pay for the facilities you wish to avail of…

My advice is do your own field work by way of inquiring around town and getting proper feedback as it’s your kid who will be staying here for nine months and years to come.
