About Me
Hello everyone, My name is Mouliraj, and I am delighted to welcome you to my website. I was born in a small village in Salem, Tamil Nadu, near Yercaud hill station, which is in the Servarayan range of hills (anglicized as Shevaroys) in the Eastern Ghats. I come from a diverse background, which has greatly shaped my perspective on life and my interactions with others. Growing up in a multicultural environment has taught me the value of embracing different cultures, beliefs, and ideas. It has also given me the ability to adapt quickly to new situations and work effectively with people from various backgrounds. In my home town of Salem, I completed my secondary school studies and earned an undergraduate degree in the discipline of Microbiology. Then I moved to Coimbatore for higher education and completed my postgraduate degree in Microbiology. During my undergrad and postgraduation, I had the opportunity to delve deeper into the fascinating world of microbiology. The rigorous coursework and hands-on laboratory experience allowed me to develop a strong foundation in the field, equipping me with the necessary skills and knowledge to pursue a successful career in Microbial Biotechnology. With this experience and knowledge, I have embarked on an exciting journey as a PhD student in Microbiology at Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. The opportunity to delve deeper into this fascinating field and contribute to groundbreaking research is truly humbling. I am eager to collaborate with renowned researchers and experts in the field, as well as contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge in Microbial Biotechnology. Additionally, I am excited to explore the frontiers of microbial biotechnology.
As a budding researcher, I am passionate about exploring the intricacies of microbial biotechnology and its impact on our world. Through my academic journey, I have gained expertise in a variety of laboratory techniques, including molecular biology, biotechnology, microbiology, and bioinformatics. Additionally, I have honed my critical thinking and problem-solving skills through the analysis of complex data sets and the design of innovative experiments. My research interests focus on exploring various applications of microbial metabolites, metabolic engineering of microbial cell factories, understanding the mechanisms behind microbial pathogenesis, and developing new strategies for combating infectious diseases. Ultimately, my goal is to contribute to the development of novel therapies that can improve human health and well-being and also to improve microbial cells' ability to produce commercially valuable small molecules through synthetic biology.
