All students, parents, teachers and staff are encouraged to submit ideas using the official form (see Project Proposal Form above). A realistic and researched budget, including links to purchasable items, must be included. Examples could include moveable gazebo’s for outdoor learning, landscape design, filtered water bottle filling stations, movable outdoor agility equipment, rainwater harvesting system...
Tuesday, 30th September, 12h00-14h00 - Help Session
Help session - Students, teachers and staff, are invited to come and see our team on Tuesday, 30th September, from 12h00 - 14h00 outside the main office under the awning. We can discuss your idea and help ensure your idea submission is complete and deliverable in principle.
Wednesday, October 15th, 17.00hrs - Deadline for Idea Submissions
Monday, October 27th - Selection Committee Meeting / Shortlisting of Ideas
The Selection Committee, comprised of six Students, three Mougins School Senior Leadership Team members and three PTA members, will review and shortlist the ideas. Last year, we received over 10 qualified projects submitted by parents, teachers and students!
All submitters of ideas will be contacted on the same day. We will provide feedback to advise if the idea was shortlisted or not and explain why. If your idea is shortlisted you will be asked to, in partnership with the PTA, prepare a short 2 slide Google presentation outlining your idea.
Friday, October 31st - PTA to present the shortlisted ideas to all students! Voting starts!
This will be in Assembly (Primary School) and in Positive Education (Secondary School). The shortlisted ideas will be posted on the PTA webpage for everyone's review and online voting opens on the same day (October 31st). Students will vote at school, and parents, teachers and staff can vote online.
Wednesday, November 5th - Voting closes
The highest-ranked idea/s with the most votes are selected for implementation.
Wednesday, November 12th - Winners announced to our community!
Thursday, November 20th
Results of the vote are ratified at the PTA AGM, and the winning projects will start to be implemented thereafter!
