We are thrilled to launch the 2025/2026 PTA Parent Voluntary Contribution process is closed. Here are the winning projects and status of their delivery.
We will launch PTA Parent Voluntary Contribution 2026/2027 in September 2026 and invite students, parents, teachers, and staff to submit ideas on how this part of the PTA budget could be spent to make our community even better!
Your idea could actually make a big difference, so please read on below for all the details. We hope many of you will participate in this exciting opportunity and submit your ideas. We look forward to receiving them!
The 2025/2026 PTA Parent Voluntary Contribution
Over 110 families kindly contributed to the PTA Parent Voluntary Contribution in their School Contract this year, and the School transfers an amount of €16,500 to the PTA. As per previous years, these funds are kept and managed separately from the PTA Treasury and will be available to fund ideas that benefit our students and the Mougins School community, as well as two annual events (2025 Winter Event and 2026 International Day).
Starting Wednesday, 24th September, students, teachers, staff and parents are invited to submit their ideas for how the funds should be spent this year. The process for submitting ideas is similar to last year and is outlined below, together with the online submission form.
A few key things to highlight upfront:
No single idea submissions above a €10,000 budget.
An in-person ‘Help Session’ for Students and Teachers wishing to submit an idea will be offered.
No ideas which require building and/or erecting new infrastructure. The school is on protected land, so anything that requires drilling into the ground is unlikely to be approved by the authorities. This is unfortunate, but we learnt this from previous years.
We are open for idea submissions for 3 weeks. Please ensure you use this time to work with the PTA to include an accurate budget. This gives us more chance to be able to deliver your idea.
All students' submission forms should include the contact details of one or more parents, teachers or the PTA who are going to actively help deliver the idea with them if they win.

Wednesday, September 24th - We are ready to receive your ideas!
All students, parents, teachers and staff are encouraged to submit ideas using the official form (see Project Proposal Form above). A realistic and researched budget, including links to purchasable items, must be included. Examples could include moveable gazebo’s for outdoor learning, landscape design, filtered water bottle filling stations, movable outdoor agility equipment, rainwater harvesting system...
Tuesday, 30th September, 12h00-14h00 - Help Session
Help session - Students, teachers and staff, are invited to come and see our team on Tuesday, 30th September, from 12h00 - 14h00 outside the main office under the awning. We can discuss your idea and help ensure your idea submission is complete and deliverable in principle.
Wednesday, October 15th, 17.00hrs - Deadline for Idea Submissions
Monday, October 27th - Selection Committee Meeting / Shortlisting of Ideas
The Selection Committee, comprised of six Students, three Mougins School Senior Leadership Team members and three PTA members, will review and shortlist the ideas. Last year, we received over 10 qualified projects submitted by parents, teachers and students!
All submitters of ideas will be contacted on the same day. We will provide feedback to advise if the idea was shortlisted or not and explain why. If your idea is shortlisted you will be asked to, in partnership with the PTA, prepare a short 2 slide Google presentation outlining your idea.
Friday, October 31st - PTA to present the shortlisted ideas to all students! Voting starts!
This will be in Assembly (Primary School) and in Positive Education (Secondary School). The shortlisted ideas will be posted on the PTA webpage for everyone's review and online voting opens on the same day (October 31st). Students will vote at school, and parents, teachers and staff can vote online.
Wednesday, November 5th - Voting closes
The highest-ranked idea/s with the most votes are selected for implementation.
Wednesday, November 12th - Winners announced to our community!
Thursday, November 20th
Results of the vote are ratified at the PTA AGM, and the winning projects will start to be implemented thereafter!
