MotoMeter is designed with your privacy as a priority. All data you enter stays on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or share any personal information.

1. Information We Collect

MotoMeter does not collect any personal information. The app operates entirely offline. All data you enter  including your bike's registration number, model, odometer readings, fuel logs, and service dates is stored locally on your device using Android's DataStore and is never transmitted to any server.

2. Data Storage

All app data is stored locally on your device in encrypted Android app storage. This includes:

• Bike registration number and model name

• Odometer readings and reset history

• Fuel fill-up logs (litres and cost)

• Service due date and reminder preferences

• App theme preference (light/dark)

This data is accessible only to MotoMeter and is removed when you uninstall the app.

3. Permissions We Request

• POST_NOTIFICATIONS — Used only to send you a service reminder notification one day before your scheduled service date. We never send unsolicited notifications.

• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED — Used to reschedule your service reminder after the device restarts, ensuring you don't miss it.

We do not request access to your camera, contacts, location, microphone, or any other sensitive data.

4. Third-Party Services

MotoMeter does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking services. There are no ads in the app, and no data is sold or shared with any third party.

5. Children's Privacy

MotoMeter does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The app contains no user accounts, no data collection, and no online features.

6. Data Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device, its security is governed by your device's own security settings (screen lock, encryption). We recommend keeping your device software up to date.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
