Motiverse ("the App", "we", "us", or "our"), operated by Pixdazz, lets you browse, create, and share motivational quotes. This Privacy Policy explains exactly what data the App collects, how it is collected, how it is used, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. Please read it carefully.
1. Summary
- The App does not require an account or login, and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or precise location.
- When you first open the App, it registers an anonymous device identifier (device fingerprint) and basic device information with our servers at motiverse.pixdazz.xyz, operated by Pixdazz, so we can deliver quote content, notifications, and AI features.
- The quotes you create in the editor stay on your device. We do not upload or store the quotes, text layouts, or background images you create.
- The in-app "AI Coach" chat and "AI Quote Generation" features transmit your prompts to our servers to generate responses/quotes using AI, associated with your anonymous device identifier.
- We display advertisements to non-premium users using standard advertising identifiers. We do not sell your personal data.
2. Data we collect
Device and technical data:
- An anonymous device identifier ("device fingerprint") — a randomly generated UUID v4 created the first time you open the App. It is stored securely on your device and sent with our requests so we can associate your activity, favorites, subscriptions, and AI chat history with your device. It is not linked to your name, email, or contacts.
- Device and app information sent once when the App registers your device: device name, brand, and model, operating system and version, app version, language/locale, and timezone. This is used for compatibility, security, and troubleshooting.
- A push-notification token (via Firebase Cloud Messaging) so we can deliver notifications.
- Advertising identifiers: Standard mobile advertising identifiers (such as AdID on Android or IDFA on iOS) used by third-party ad networks to serve advertisements.
Content and interactive data:
- AI Coach Chat Messages: When you chat with the AI Coach, your messages are sent to our backend servers (motiverse.pixdazz.xyz) to generate a response. These are stored on our servers linked to your anonymous device identifier so you can access your chat history.
- AI Generation Prompts: When you use the "Generate with AI" feature, the text prompt you enter is sent to our servers to generate an inspiring quote.
- Quotes you create: Custom quotes, author text, and design choices (colors, fonts, frames, and background images) that you select in the quote editor are processed only on your device. They are not transmitted to or stored on our servers.
3. How we collect data
- Automatically, through standard HTTPS requests to our servers when the App registers your device, retrieves AI Coach messages, or fetches quote categories and quotes.
- Through Firebase Cloud Messaging, which provides the push-notification token used to deliver notifications.
- Directly from you, when you enter messages in the AI Coach chat, submit prompts for AI quote generation, or choose to receive notifications.
- Through third-party SDKs, such as the Google Mobile Ads SDK (for serving ads) and RevenueCat (for managing subscription purchases).
4. How we use your data
We use the data we collect to:
- Deliver quote categories and quotes from our content library to your device.
- Process and respond to your messages sent to the AI Coach.
- Generate customized motivational quotes using our AI engine.
- Verify premium subscription status and unlock Pro features.
- Send you notifications you have opted into.
- Serve relevant advertisements to non-premium users.
- Maintain security, fix bugs, and improve the App.
- Respond to your support requests.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your content for advertising.
5. Photos and the quote editor
- When you choose an image as a quote background, the App accesses your photo library only for the image you select, and that image is processed locally on your device to build the quote card.
- When you share or save a quote, the finished image is created on your device and handed to your device's standard share sheet or saved to your gallery. It is not uploaded to our servers.
6. AI Coach Chat and AI Quote Generation
- The "AI Coach" chat and "AI Quote Generation" features are dynamic. Messages and prompts are transmitted to our servers (motiverse.pixdazz.xyz) where they are processed by our AI services to provide motivational guidance or generate quotes.
- These interactions are stored on our backend and associated with your anonymous device identifier to maintain your conversation history. They are not linked to any personal email, phone number, or identity.
7. Data retention
- The device registration, subscription status, and AI chat data described in Section 2 are retained on our servers while you continue to use the App. You may request their deletion at any time by emailing pixdazz3@gmail.com.
- The anonymous device identifier is stored on your device; you can clear it by uninstalling the App.
- Quotes you create are stored only on your device and are removed when you delete them or uninstall the App.
8. Third-party services we use
We use the following third-party services to operate the App. We share only the data each service needs for its stated function, and we rely on each provider's commitment to protect that data. None of these services receives the quotes, images, or custom designs you create in the App.
- Google Firebase (Cloud Messaging & Analytics): receives your push token to deliver notifications and tracks aggregate, anonymous usage statistics. Policy: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy

9. Your choices and rights
- Notifications: disable them in your device settings at any time.
- Personalized Ads: opt out of personalized ads in your device settings (e.g., "Limit Ad Tracking" on iOS or "Opt out of Ads Personalization" on Android).
- Deletion: request deletion of your device registration and chat data by emailing pixdazz3@gmail.com.
- Depending on your location, you may have additional rights (such as access, correction, or deletion under GDPR or CCPA). Contact us to exercise them.
10. Children's privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Data security
We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest, including encrypted transport (HTTPS) and secure on-device storage for the device identifier. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Effective Date" above and make the updated policy available inside the App or at its published location.
