Privacy Policy – Motivational Alarm

Motivational Alarm is a free application. Most of its functionality alarms, preferences, streaks, and settings runs and stays entirely on your device. This policy explains the data that leaves the device and why.

Data Collection:

The app itself does not collect account information, and does not require

you to create an account or sign in. Your alarms, profile name/bio, and

settings are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to the

developer.

The app uses the following third-party services, which do collect data as

described below:

• Google Firebase Analytics

Used to understand how the app is used in aggregate (e.g. which features are

used, app open frequency, general usage patterns) so we can improve

reliability and the core experience. This collects app interaction data and

device/app identifiers (such as a Firebase-generated app instance

identifier). This data is pseudonymous, it is not linked to your name,

email, or other directly-identifying information collected by us, since we

do not collect that information in the first place. Unlike our advertising

partner below, the developer does have access to this aggregated data

through the Firebase console.

• Google Firebase Crashlytics

Used to receive crash and error reports so we can find and fix bugs. This

collects crash logs and diagnostic information (e.g. device model, OS

version, the state the app was in when it crashed). The developer has

access to this data through the Firebase console.

Advertising:

The app displays ads provided by Google AdMob. Google may collect and process data as described in Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

The developer does not have access to or control over ad-targeting data collected by Google through AdMob.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you will be shown a consent form before ads and analytics data collection begin, allowing you to choose whether to consent.

Children's Privacy:

This app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly

collect data from children under 13.

Data Retention:

Data collected via Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics is retained according to Google's default Firebase retention settings and is not sold or shared with any party other than Google/Firebase as our service provider.

Your Choices:

You can limit ads personalization through your device's ad settings (Google Settings > Ads, on most Android devices). If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you can change your consent choice at any time from within the app's Settings screen.

Permissions:

The app requests the following permissions strictly for core functionality:

Exact alarms – to trigger alarms at precise user-defined times

Boot completed – to restore alarms after device restart

Full-screen intent – to display alarms reliably when the device is locked

Notifications, vibration, wake lock – to ensure alarms alert the user

None of these permissions are used to collect or transmit personal data.
