Welcome to Motion! Before you jump in, please take a moment to read these Terms of Service. By playing Motion on your Meta VR device, you agree to these Terms and to Meta’s own platform rules.

If you don’t agree with any of this, please don’t use the game.

1. About the Game

Motion is a fun VR experience with a unique locomotion. Use your hands to run, jump, climb and escape from the taggers/ monsters that are coming your way and become monkey! You can also buy your favourite cosmetics in the store and wear them to flex in lobbys.

2. Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years old to play Motion. If you're under the age of majority in your country, make sure you have your parent or guardian’s permission. We take safety seriously, especially when online interaction is involved.

3. Data We Use

To deliver the core game experience, we may collect or use the following types of data:

• Microphone Input: Your voice is transmitted in real time for in-game voice chat.
  
  

• Voice Chat Data: Voice chat is peer-to-peer and not stored by us. However, Meta may collect data in accordance with its policies.
  
  

• Movement Data: Your in-game movement, including your controller and headset position, is used to drive gameplay.
  
  

• User Account Info: Your Meta account may provide us with a username and basic profile data.
  
  

We do not sell your data, and we only use it to run the game as intended.

4. Code of Conduct

We want Motion to be fun and respectful. While playing, you agree to:

• Be respectful to other players. No bullying, harassment, or hate speech.
  
  

• Avoid inappropriate content, gestures, or behavior.
  
  

• Follow all Meta Community Guidelines and Rules.
  
  

Breaking the rules may result in temporary or permanent bans.

5. Content Warning

We plan to introduce horror-themed modes in the future. These may include sudden scares, dark environments, or unsettling sounds. We'll always clearly label these experiences.

If you're sensitive to this kind of content, you may choose to avoid those modes.

6. Updates and Changes

We may update Motion regularly — for bug fixes, new features, seasonal updates or content changes. By continuing to play after an update, you agree to the latest version of these Terms.

7. Liability and Safety

Use at your own risk. Motion involves physical activity. Make sure you have enough space, stay aware of your surroundings, and follow all Meta safety guidelines.

We are not responsible for any injuries, equipment damage, or other losses related to your use of the game.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to Motion for violations of these Terms, Meta's rules, or if needed for legal or safety reasons.
