We bring gentle yoga and guided movement sessions set to music, if interested. It is designed to help seniors relax, breathe deeply, and reconnect with their bodies and others around them.
These sessions promote both physical wellness and emotional connection. They allow volunteers to share energy and rhythm while restoring a sense of peace in residents who may feel physically limited.
Every session ends with a moment of stillness and gratitude.
Partnered with Neuroaid, a local student organization focused on raising money to help support epilepsy research via the Epilepsy Foundation, we bring crafts and creative activities in the theme of purple, for example, purple bracelet-making, sensory boards, and collage work. All designed to spark conversation and connection.
Creating with your hands opens the heart. These projects help seniors express themselves and connect with volunteers.
Volunteers bring all the supplies and lead the project step-by-step.
We collect cheerful gifts, ranging from handwritten letters, simple treats, cozy scarfs, decorated bags, etc. We deliver them to seniors as surprise "mail."
Getting something "just for you" brightens someone's day. These thoughtful drops make residents feel remembered and cared for, especially those with few visitors.
Each letter or gift includes a handwritten note signed with care by a youth volunteer.
Fun, light-hearted photo sessions using mini props (hats, glasses, accessories) that let residents play, pose, and laugh. Printed photos are delivered during the next visit.
Seniors deserve to be celebrated. These portraits capture joy, preserve memories, and give residents something special to hold or display.
We often pair photos with quotes or decorations so they feel personalized and meaningful.
