Faren Rajkumar AKA Mother Void is a nomadic musician & muse of West Indian ancestry, currently based in the PNW. she celebrates her culture & the Matriarchy through musical expression and commanding the dancefloor.
Mother Void is a classically trained violinist offering DJ sets w/ live violin, acoustic instrumentals, and private instruction. she has been playing violin for over 25 years, and recently developed mixing skills to combine electronic and acoustic sounds for dance.
as a dance journey facilitator/DJ, Mother Void invites bodies to contemplate their inner dark matter and creation center, conjure movement medicine and experience the sacred sensations of sound, vibration, motion, touch and stillness. she is an expert at creating complete dance arc journeys that can take you through the five rhythms, induce powerful awakening & release of suppressed sensual energy, or inspire play with others on the dance floor.
