Khadija Z. Moten was born in Amarillo, TX, and raised in Dallas, TX. Growing up, she had a strong interest in creative projects and a desire to incorporate her Pakistani heritage in the pieces she created. Inspired by her summer trips to Pakistan, she was always mesmerized by the vibrant bazaars that carried vast amounts of fabrics, beads, ribbons, and notions alongside tailors and designers who specialized in embroidery and dye stations.

As a child, Khadija always dreamed of starting her own line in the hopes of incorporating modest-wear to reflect her faith, Islam. She wants to create pieces that make women feel confident, allowing their inner beauty and personality to shine through.
