About Us

Hello, I’m Danielle Knobel the human side of Mosswood Standard Poodles. I fell in love with this wonderful breed in 2007, but it was not until December of 2019, with Druid, that I was able to get my very first standard poodle. From that point I entered the dog world, becoming a member of my local dog training club, Syracuse Obedience Training Club, and AKC kennel club, Onondaga Kennel Association. Through my new contacts and clubs I learned much. Soon I started to compete in performance events and eventually worked myself up to showing in conformation with both Druid and my American Bully, Wasabi. In July of 2021 we added Firefly, my foundation female, to the crew and from there things really started to take off.
At Mosswood stable temperament and versatility is paramount and we strive to prove our dogs in many venues not just in the conformation ring. My goal is to produce the total package of correct structure, versatility and stable dogs that make great family pets.
