Parenthood

One focus of my practice is parenthood. Whether you are just contemplating parenthood or are already on the journey, no time is too early or too late for us to meet.

While being a parent is often an awe-inspiring, uplifting experience, it simultaneously can feel daunting, exhausting, confusing and anxiety-provoking. The experience of parenting can defy expectations, challenge one's identity and act as a catalyst to re-evaluate one's relationships and goals.

I am available to help mothers and fathers sort out these challenges and integrate the role of parent more seamlessly within ones life. Ultimately the goal is to reach a level of self-understanding, clarity and presence that leads to satisfaction and joy no matter what role one is in . My clinical background working with children, teens and families informs my work as I am able to guide parents through difficult moments and phases. Importantly, though, the crux of my work is focused on each mother or father as an individual. I work with the parent to achieve understanding and solace of their own, which in turn will enhance any relationship they are in. Each parent - each person - is unique. Honoring that individuality is essential to my approach.
