Kaloop is a civil and structural engineer with over 20 years of broad expertise in the areas of structural health monitoring (SHM), Modeling, and Geomatics engineering. He has contributed to the development of methodologies for construction survey engineering applications and modelling. He made significant contributions in the areas of quality assurance of SHM, stochastic modeling, construction survey, signal processing, and geomatics. The research projects of Kaloop are linked to practical applications with significant economic value, e.g., transportation, geomatics, and construction. He was ranked among the top 2% of scientists by Elsevier in 2023 and 2024, and in the top 0.5% of scholars by ScholarGPS in 2024 for the impact, quality, and consistency of his research.
