Como artista, trabajo para desarrollar piezas que me hablen tanto a mí, como al espectador, y para  descubrir las complejas estructuras existentes en la naturaleza. Parte de mi proceso es seleccionar imágenes informalmente, y fraccionarlas en diversos elementos antes de comenzar a ensamblar las complejas estructuras multi-capa en el lienzo. El  punto es recrear en la obra tendencias abstractas y gestuales. No sólo quiero armonizar las imágenes con la composición; quiero dar ideas de diseño e  innovación y descubrir en la unión de las imágenes nuevas iconografías que se muestren en mi trabajo. El desafío, es la práctica de un juego contínuo de juicio para añadir o sustraer elementos en un tono unificado, en un acto valiente de experiencias placenteras, dolorosas y sin limitaciones.

As an artist, I work to develop pieces that speak to both me and the viewer, and to discover the complex structures that exist in nature. Part of my process is to select images informally and to divide them into different elements before starting to assemble the complex multilayer structures on the canvas. The point is to recreate abstract and gestural tendencies in the work. I do not just want to harmonize the images with the composition; I want to give ideas of design and innovation, and to discover, in the union of the images, new iconographies that are shown in my work. The challenge is the practice of a continuous game of judgement to add or subtract elements in a unified tone, in a brave act of pleasurable, painful and limitless  experiences.
