Welcome!
I’m Morten Westfall, a physicist specialized in biophysics with a passion for applying advanced data analysis, molecular modeling, and simulations to solve complex biological problems. My work bridges the fields of science, education, and technology, combining a deep understanding of biophysical systems with strong communication and teaching skills.
With a background in biophysics, mathematical modeling, programming, and data analysis, I thrive in interdisciplinary environments where I can translate complex scientific concepts into practical solutions. In addition, my experience as a science educator has strengthened my ability to make challenging topics accessible and engaging for diverse audiences, from students to professionals.
Beyond science, I have a deep commitment to politics and patient politics. Over the years, I have served as a board member and treasurer political organizations honing my leadership and organizational skills. My passion for patient politics has also led me to a role as a board member of the Colitis-Crohn Association (CCF), where I work to support and represent individuals with chronic illnesses. This extensive engagement in organizational life has enriched my ability to work collaboratively, manage complex initiatives, and drive meaningful change in both political and patient-focused settings.
Whether in science, education, or politics, I am driven by a desire to combine my technical expertise, communication skills, and passion for making a positive impact.
