Interested in joining the ASB Council for the 2024-2025 School Year?

Here's what you need to know:

The ASB Council is a dedicated group of students who want to work together in service to the entire Associated Student Body.  Students who are on the ASB Council want to be involved in supporting their school and their class, and they want to be proactive in planning and executing events with the hope of promoting school spirit.  It is expected that all members of the ASB Council are active participants during the school day as well as time outside of the school day, including weekends.

The following positions are currently open and will be filled by a special election:

• Commissioner of Elections

• Junior Class Vice President

• Junior Class Secretary

• Junior Class Treasurer

• Senior Class Vice President

• Senior Class Secretary

Eligibility Requirements

• 9-12 academic WGPA of 2.5 or higher

• Maintain an academic WGPA of 2.5 or higher, with no "F" grades, for ALL grade reporting periods

• Maintain a citizenship GPA of 2.5 or higher, with no "U" grades, for ALL grade reporting periods

• No suspensions

• ENROLLMENT IN THE STUDENT GOVERNMENT CLASS (ASB CLASS), FOR THE ENTIRE SCHOOL YEAR, IS REQUIRED FOR ALL MEMBERS OF THE ASB COUNCIL

2024-25 ASB Council Special Election Timeline:

• Teacher Recommendations accepted until 11:59 PM on Sunday, August 18, 2024

• Applications (Google Form) accepted until 11:59 PM on Sunday, August 18, 2024

• Qualified applicants will be notified on Monday, August 19, 2024

• Online elections will take place from 12:00 AM on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 through 11:59 PM on Sunday, August 25, 2024.

• Candidates will be notified of the election results on Monday, August 26, 2024

To apply to be considered for the 2024-25 ASB Council, please complete the following online application and have two teachers each submit a Teacher Recommendation Form on your behalf.  In doing so, you are acknowledging that you have read through the 2024-2025 ASB Council Election Handbook and understand all content and expectations.   You must use your student Google account to complete the form.

Send the link to the Teacher Recommendation Form to two teachers who know you (current and/or former teachers).

Applications  and Teacher Recommendations will be accepted until 11:59 PM on Sunday August 18, 2024.
