In 2019, Morris Area Women of Today along with Morris area organizations and businesses established the Morris Dog Park. The park offers community members a safe place to exercise their pets while allowing them to socialize with other animals.
The park (with parking lot) is located across from the Pomme de Terre Park near the dam. The location has two fenced in areas (one for smaller animals, and one for larger animals). Also available are park benches, picnic tables, poop bags, garbage cans, recycling can, tennis balls, water buckets, and equipment for dog (tunnels, bridge, tires, fire hydrants).
The park is open year-round and is maintained by Morris Area Women of Today and the City of Morris.
