Dissecting Morphological Theory: Diminutivization
This workshop series scrutinizes and compares theoretical assumptions in morphology. Diminutivization serves as a testing ground. The goal is to provide a platform for fruitful discussion among scholars working within different theoretical frameworks as well as computational and experimental morphologists. The workshops are held in conjunction with different international conferences.

Update 2: 7 September 2020We are organizing a workshop series: Dissecting morphological theory 1: Diminutivization across languages and frameworks, workshop proposal for the 54th Annual Meeting of the Societas Linguistica Europaea, to be held in Athens, Greece, on 31 August - 03 September 2021.Dissecting morphological theory 2: Diminutivization in root-, stem- and word-based morphology, workshop to be held in conjunction with the 46th Austrian Linguistics Conference (ÖLT, i.e. Österreichische Linguistik-Tagung) in Vienna, Austria, in December 2021. Details were circulated to all registered authors by e-mail.
Update 1: 23 Aug 2020Our workshop proposal was accepted by the organizers of the 46th Austrian Linguistics Conference (ÖLT). However, due to COVID-19, the 2020 ÖLT has been canceled.
