Set in the beautiful Northumberland countryside, a short drive from Morpeth, we have an unrivalled year-round range that keeps getting better
Our outdoor range has 7 targets at distances between 20 and 100 yards. We have a mix of straw and foam bosses of varying sizes, magic wands and a couple of small field targets
Targets are open in daylight hours, seven days a week and members have the freedom to book their own sessions, form a small team or join our group shoots
Our range is certified for target archery and we support barebow, compound, longbow and recurve archers
We have a toilet, wet weather shelter and club storage facilities
It is an outdoor range that won't suit people with mobility issues and the ground can be uneven in places
Our members tend to be adults from a variety of backgrounds and occupations
There's a range of experience too, from brand new archers to those with 40+ years of experience
Our membership has changed drastically after COVID and we are mostly new archers but with a core of experience we can depend upon
We don't provide free food and drink at every group meeting but some of our members need no encouragement to whip out a BBQ
We are respectful, friendly and welcoming
We are a not-for-profit Community Amateur Sports Club, run for and by our own members. Our club fees fund our facilities, training and equipment
We're committee run and any full member is welcome to take on one or more roles
We look out for one another and all subscribe to the Archery GB code of conduct, a trained safeguarding officer is on hand to address any concerns
We treat our members data securely, capture only what is needed and do not hold onto data unnecessarily
Please see our data sharing policy for more information
