Our vision is to create a supportive and inclusive community where students can navigate their educational journey, explore their interests and develop essential skills for the future. We believe in the power of mentorship to empower students, allowing them to reach their full potential.

Morningside Mentors was founded in Harlem by a group of passionate Columbia University and high school students from the local area who saw the need for a personalized mentorship program in the city.  The program was founded with the intention of leveling the playing field and allow everyone the opportunity to be mentored by university students with similar interests and goals. For this reason we offer completely free and accessible mentoring for all students. Morningside Mentors along with it's team of dedicated volunteers are committed to fostering educational and personal development within our mentees.
