Apparently this discaliner is necessary because despite the "The Church" insisting on not being called Mormon [see Exhibits A & B], they also want to stop anyone else from using that word. They claim use of the word Mormon is "causing confusion",  which seems to imply that church leaders do not think highly of members' critical thinking skills. Based on historical precedent, why would anyone think the church would willingly create a website that addresses anything remotely negative about its history? Therefore, one can conclude that any website or article that uses the word "Mormon" must do against the wishes of the church. Again, this would strongly reinforce that fact that it is not an official church resource.

Regarding the visual style of this website, it uses the default template provided by Google sites. It does not use any official church branding (e.g. "light rays"), which coincidentally resemble the PowerPoint "Facet" style template. [see Exhibits C & D]
