I am an associate professor and researcher in fluid mechanics at the FAST Laboratory, Université Paris-Saclay. My work focuses on granular media and their interactions with fluids, with applications to geophysical phenomena such as erosion, landslides, and tsunami generation. I also investigate the formation and dynamics of vortices, with relevance to bio-inspired propulsion and naval engineering. My research relies primarily on an experimental approach. The goal is to develop models and identify universal scaling laws to better understand and anticipate these complex phenomena.
