"Teach"

John plays guitar, mandolin, sings lead & harmony, song writes, and gets lost in music theory...a lot.

John Trew has played music since he was 9 years old. He and his wife Danille have been married for 13 years and have two children, Isaac and JoAnna. John leads the worship at Morrisville Assembly of God. He is in his 17th year of teaching and is the Director of Bands for Bolivar Schools. John also is the adjunct guitar instructor at Southwest Baptist University. He holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Central Missouri and a Master of Music Composition from Missouri State University. John has been honored to guest perform with many university ensembles and bluegrass bands including Lonesome River Band and Audie Blaylock & Redline. Most of all he is blessed to play bluegrass with the fine gentlemen of Missouri River Band. He joined the band in 2015 and has enjoyed every minute of it!
