MoribundMurdoch is the founder of Moribund Institute: WanderingWikis, MorDictionary, AudiobookGaming, and WearYourDictionary. He is a lexicographer and your friendly neighborhood hypochondriac, serving up his visionary idiocy with unwavering commitment.
My goals, in order of importance, are as follows:
I. To raise funds for my dream project: a Foster Home and School for the Development of Nascent Übermenschen and Entrepreneurs. It will function as a foster home, day school, boarding school, and guild—a sanctuary for potential.
II. To expand the digital library and reference materials that will serve as the intellectual backbone of this institution.
III. To accelerate the rate at which the world generates and develops ideas—by supporting open-source initiatives, funding promising projects, and engaging in general ideational chaos.
What inspires the dream character I strive to be includes:
Epicurean philosophy, the fight against finitude, resisting Skinner box traps, deontological ethics, my regrets over squandering my developmental years, the hope of helping others avoid the mistakes I made, memento mori (remembering that I will die), the "rough-around-the-edges but ultimately good-hearted" Han Solo type who talks tough but always comes through when it matters, the inspiration I drew from the foster home scene in The Dark Knight Rises, open-source-fever, Alexis de Tocqueville cementing the beauty of voluntary associations & mutual aid societies, and other such influences.
Ideology, laziness, and Skinner-box traps crowding out a pure, mad-scientist curiosity. I'm a weak-human with the ability to lose hours to anime, K-dramas, and other Skinner-box loops.
Whoever would throw money at MoribundMurdoch—whoever is a nerd, or whomever wants to spread the nerdom, and so on—should know: MoribundMurdoch is engaging in glorified e-begging.
Oftentimes, I experiment with video ideas so objectively bad that the content ends up tailored strictly for myself.
MoribundMurdoch eedjit mattoid is working on it.
I'm working on it—despite having the attention span of a hummingbird.
For each platform or publisher I submit my work to, I try to tailor it to fit their specific expectations. YouTube has guidelines, Twitch has guidelines, Bluesky has a culture, Twitter has a culture—and so on. I do my best to adapt to the norms wherever I publish.
That said, I'm naturally a bit chaotic neutral—or just plain cheeky—when it comes to, well, whatnot. I was raised on Xbox Live, so… you know how it is.
Love, Sarcasm, Heuristics.
Please, let this not be too ignominious.
Please, let this be a successful business venture—one that could cover my college, living, and working holiday visa expenses.
I'm sort of like an adventuring educational theorist–pirate type… but maybe not. I don’t know—he’s an unreliable narrator.
