Moreno PINTORE

Welcome to my personal academic website! I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Laboratoire Jacques-Louis Lions at Sorbonne Université in Paris, working with Prof. Bruno Després. I am a mathematical engineer specialized in Scientific Machine Learning and in numerical methods for solving partial differential equations. I enjoy exploring new ideas and combining modern technologies with classical numerical techniques.

I received my B.Sc. degree and my M.Sc. degree (with honors) in Applied Mathematics from Politecnico di Torino in 2017 and 2019, respectively. From November 2019 to September 2023, I was a Ph.D. student in the Deparment of Mathematical Sciences at Politecnico di Torino, and at Università degli Studi di Torino, under the supervision of  Prof. Claudio Canuto and Prof. Stefano Berrone. 

From February 2023 to November 2023, I was a Research Assistant at Politecnico di Torino. Then, from December 2023 to November 2024, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow at INRIA Paris, working with Prof. Bruno Després.
