About the author

Georgia is a registered Early Childhood Educator (ECE) in Ontario and a mother to a 2-year-old and an 8-month-old. She obtained her ECE diploma from Fanshawe College in 2020 and is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Early Childhood Education at Brock University. Since becoming an ECE, she has consistently valued play-based learning and implemented it in her classrooms. She has been particularly interested in how misunderstood play-based learning can be among educators. Her goal is to demystify play-based learning and demonstrate how it can be effectively implemented in the classroom.
