• Location Services (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION, ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION): We require location access to display your current position on the map relative to your vehicle and to enable core features like Geofencing and live tracking.

• Real-Time Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): This permission allows us to send you instant alerts regarding your vehicle's safety, such as engine on/off status, over-speeding, or geofence breaches.

• Screen Overlays (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW): We use this to display high-priority, urgent anti-theft and parking alerts directly on your screen, ensuring you are notified immediately even if the app is in the background.

• Network Access (INTERNET): Required to connect the Application to our secure servers so you can view live vehicle data and download tracking history reports.

3. What We Do Not Collect (Media & Files)

We respect your personal device privacy. Mootrack Plus operates without needing access to your personal files. We explicitly do not request permissions for, nor do we access, your external storage, photos, or videos (READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, READ_MEDIA_VIDEO).

• Mapping Services: We utilize standard map providers (like Google Maps) to display vehicle locations and route history graphically.

We use commercially acceptable security protocols to protect the data transmitted between your device and our servers. Because accounts are managed administratively, your tracking data is retained only as long as your account is active with us.
