My position hasn't changed significantly. The only situation where AI is beneficial to me is if I don't care about the outcome.
I am someone who is very very detail oriented. All my words are delibteraly chosen, and all my visuals are considerably thought-out. I spend a lot of effort on everything, so I am open to any tool that may help me achieve my goals more efficiently. AI does not do that. They are very efficient if all you value is time and effort, and not outcome. Add to that that I'm not good at describing my vision in text, and all in all AI is more of a hassle to wrangle into working than simply doing everything I need from scratch. This is not even touching on the moral reasons I am avoiding using it, though I suppose those are unrelated to my degree. I am not an ethicist. Though as an architect I will not be using AI for my forseeable future.
